The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 31 reveals Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will push back on Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will apologize to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have news for Noah. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will not be happy with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Y&R spoilers tease Noah will walk into Crimson Lights and Sharon will realize something’s wrong. He’ll say it’s Matt, he tried to convince Sienna he’s changed. He’s concerned she’s fallen for it. “That scares the hell outta me.”
Sharon will ask him if he’s worried Matt’s hoping to reunite with Sienna. Noah will say he doesn’t know what to think. “Cutting Matt any slack isn’t good, he can be dangerous.” Then Sharon will tell him his father checked himself into rehab.

Meanwhile, Phyllis will wake up in her suite and realize Matt isn’t there. “Where are you?” she’ll say to herself. “Did you leave town already?” So, Phyllis will send him an angry text. “Where are you? Why did you leave? I deserve to know!!!”
Downstairs, Nikki and Victor will have breakfast together at the GCAC and discuss Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). They’ll both agree they’re worried about him. Then Nikki will ask Victor where things stand between them. Victor will tell her she needs to focus on her sight and on Nick.
“We’re falling into our old familiar patterns,” Nikki will reply. “We’re ignoring the fact that a few weeks ago, our marriage broke into a million pieces.” She’ll ask if she’ll be sharing his suite again when they return home. “Is Jack still an obstacle between us?”.
Victor will say either he accepts her friendship with that loser, or they won’t have a future together. But Nikki will point out there’s a third choice. “All you have to say is you were wrong.” She’ll say Jack is her friend and she can’t ignore what he did to him.
“I lost you and this is the second time, because of Jack Abbott,” he’ll reply. But he’ll say he shouldn’t have pushed her away. “I guess my love for you is stronger than my hatred for Jack Abbott,” he’ll reply. “Let’s go home.” And Nikki will smile.
At The Shadow Room, Matt will walk in. Sienna will say she thought he left town. But he’ll tell her he came there to ask a favor. Since she was able to show him such grace, he’s hoping Noah and his parents could follow her lead. But Sienna will remind Matt he was their worst recurring nightmare.

However, Matt will admit he had a revelation. “I don’t need to sacrifice my entire life to please the Newmans or anybody else,” he’ll add. “I think I’m gonna stick around Genoa City after all.” Matt will say his gut tells him she believes the change in him is real. So maybe she’d consider trying to reassure all the Newmans he’s not a threat anymore. “I just want to be left alone.”
Sienna will admit she’s already told Noah she thinks he’s changed but he doesn’t believe it. But Sienna will relent and she’ll tell him he better not be playing her. “I almost killed you once, the next time I won’t be so clumsy.” Then Noah will walk in and flip when he sees Matt. He’ll say he thought he was leaving town and he’ll kick Matt out.
Noah will tell his girlfriend that Matt is taking advantage of her good heart. “I do not need you being a hero!” Sienna will reply. She’ll say she and Matt were just having a calm conversation when he swooped in. But Noah will push back, telling Sienna she’s clearly gone soft on this maniac.
He’ll ask when it went from them being in sync to her giving him a hard time and defending Matt Clark. “Nobody manipulates me,” Sienna will say. “And nobody controls me, including you.”
As for Phyllis, she’ll leave a nasty voicemail for Matt, but then he’ll walk in. She’ll say she thought he ghosted her. Matt will tell Phyllis he wouldn’t do that. He was putting things in place to make a life in Genoa City. And he’ll add he went to see Sienna.
Finally, Victor and Nikki will approach them and notice his ankle monitor is missing. Matt will say he’s moving out of the ranch and shacking up with his girl Phyllis. “We’ll see about that,” Victor will reply.
